Our History:

The One2One Org. was founded by C. Tyehimba Thonor-Kuykendall, II. In 1996 it was formerlly known as the Boys to Men Group, but was formerly changed to the One2One Org. in 1997. We started out working with K-College youths that were "at-risk" for using, abusing and or selling drugs. We also included youth that were in Special Educational courses with Individual Educational Plans (IEPs). In 2008 Bishop C. Tyehimba Thonor-Kuykendall, II, D.D., realizing that our "outreach program" has always been a ministry.  In addition, a couple of our programs have always been "faith-based", after much consideration & meditation; we decided to become a "Faith-Based" organization.  We started the process to intergrate our founders ministry of Life's Ripples Pastoral Care Services with One2One Educational Programs. 

In August of 2008, we became Life's Ripples Ministries offering these outreach programs:

2. One2One Educational Outreach Programs:

Our program offers incentives for the youth for following and completing the items listed on their plan. The program enhances teacher involvement with the student and completion of the IEP. In addition, participation in our program promotes parents/guardians bonding through after-school activities.

All youths and their parents/guardians that participate in our program are invited to attend our formal Annual Passage Program Banquet. For this event the youth and their parents/guardians are asked to dress up in evening attire. During this banquet we will recognize all of the hard work that these youth and their parent/guardians have accomplished during the academic year.
