ELIGIBILITY:

Parole/Probation Component: ( A part of our "Rites of Passage" & Awards Program):

This program's focus are youths 7-12th grade that are under the jurisdiction of the Juvenile Court System that are enrolled in Special Educational Programs with Individual Educational Plan(IEP). These students also have been assigned either a parole or probation officer. The officer would sign the pledge form as the educator, along with the parents/guardians and the youth. In addition, the youth would also have sign a Youth Contract with us. Enrollment is open to 7th-9th grade only.

Who is eligible for our Free "Rites of Passage" and Awards Program?

Open Enrollment is for youth K-6th Grade.

-Any youth K-6th grade that is enrolled in Special Educational Courses, that has an Individual Educational plan (IEP). Young people are eligible to be enrolled in our program until they graduate from the 12th grade.

-Any student that meets the above criteria and, who will benefit from extra assistance and encoursgement meeting their Benchmark Goals on their IEP.

-Please note: this program is intended for youths who are not thriving and, who could need extra assistance and encouragement with their IEPs. It is not intended be used as a tool for the sole purpose of passing proficiency tests.

Active Duty Family Members & Veterans:

This is the same as the "Rites of Passage" & Awards Program.  All active duty personal & their families are eligible for this program, providing that their youth has an IEP or MFE.  The same is true for Veterans as well however, all Disabled Veterans all of our programs are free with proof of disability.

Referrals will be accepted from the following:

  1. Families can self refer
  2. Commanding Officers (CO's)
  3. Veterans Administration Case Managers
  4. Vet Centers
  5. Veterans Service Organizations:
  • Disabled American Veterans (DAV)
  • Americal Legion
  • American Veterans of World War II (AMVET)
  • Jewish War Veterans of the USA
  • Marine Corps League
  • Military Order of the Purple Heart
  • Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA)
  • Veterans of Foreign War (VFW)
  • Vietnam Veterans of America
